| 『夫婦善哉』：（30）不義密通の申し立て「裁判官のみなさま、私の依頼人はこの事実を確信しております。しかし、こうした個人的な確信というものは依頼人にとって充分なものではなく、この裁判で、この法廷全体と、私どもをとり巻く大勢の傍聴席のみなさま、・・・ひいてはフランス全土のみなみなさまにも、この確信をわかちあっていただきたいと存ずる次第なのであります。かようなわけで、この私が依頼人の意向に基づきまして、この任務を全うすることとあいなったわけでありますが、かくいう私も、このできごとのすべてを、いまやみなさまの目のまえに逐一、つまびらかに解き明かしたと固く信ずる次第なのであります。かくなるうえは、もはや私の依頼人の、いわゆるその・・・その、社会的立場というものが、専門的なご判決によって、確証されるのを待つばかりなのであります。ですから、まことに公明正大なる裁判官のみなさまは、この依頼人に最後に残されました、わずかな満足感までもとりあげてしまわれようなどとは、よもやなさいますまい。」 |
